Eight weeks at the bench with hand tools only. You start by sharpening and setting up your own plane and chisels, learn to read the grain, and work towards a small wall shelf held together by the joints you cut.
Each week has a short reading to do at home and a three-hour session in the shop. Timber, glue and the use of every tool are included.
Taught by Josef Hartl. For beginners.
